A provider or commissioner can create a DCP record to add onto their contract.
Provider
- Log in to Compass.
- Select ‘Clinician’.
- Choose ‘Create DCP’.
- Select ‘Create new DCP Clinician’.
- Input GDC Number, this will add the DCP’s details into the ‘Name’, ‘Address’ and ‘Clinician Type’ fields.
- Select ‘Save/Create’ to create the record.
Once the DCP record has been created, you will be able to add them onto your contract.
Commissioner
- Log in to Compass.
- Select ‘Clinician’.
- Select ‘Clinician Creation and Authorisation’.
- Select ‘Create DCP Clinician’.
- Fill all mandatory fields.
- Make sure the ‘System User’ box is ticked and select ‘Dental Care Professional’ from the drop-down list.
- A second user will need to authorise the DCP creation.
