If your qualifying benefit has changed to Universal Credit (UC), contact us to update your NHS Healthy Start claim.
If you're still eligible, you can apply online once:
- your children are added and verified to your UC claim
- you’ve received your first UC payment
If you're receiving UC but your claim has changed, your NHS Healthy Start payments will stop when:
- you’ve changed from a single claim to a joint claim
- you’ve changed from a joint claim to a single claim
- your family’s total take home pay is over £408
Your payments will restart:
- once you've received your first UC payment
- if your details match what we hold for you
- if you meet the eligibility criteria
- if it’s been less than 16 weeks since your payments stopped
