The government created the ASC-LDSS to support the Adult Social Care workforce in England.
Organisations with eligible ASC employees can claim for training courses and qualifications that meet government quality assurance standards.
Employers can only claim for the amount they paid for the course, up to the maximum set amount. If they pay less than the maximum set amount for the course, they can only claim the amount they paid.
Some of the fund is intended to support individuals in care roles to enrol onto the Level 2 ASC Certificate qualification.
