The ASC-WDS is a free online data collection service run by Skills for Care. It covers the Adult Social Care (ASC) workforce in England.
To register for an account you must:
- add your name
- add your job title
- set up a password and security question
Once this is done, you need to provide further details to get started.

Your account must be at least 90% up to date before you can submit a claim for the adult social care learning and development support scheme.
Once your ASC-WDS account is verified, you'll be given a workforce ID. This will be a letter followed by 7 numbers, such as A1234567.
You need your workforce ID to register for the ASC claims portal and make claims for your employees.
