If you meet all eligibility criteria and declare all income details requested in your application, we can assess you for the basic award.
Your possible basic award entitlement is based on the university you attend and if you live in the parental home.
You may also be awarded an extra weeks allowance if your term dates consist of more than 30 eligible study weeks.
If your term dates consist of 45 eligible study weeks or more, you'll be assessed as if your term dates totalled 52 weeks which is an extra 22 weeks.
Once your possible entitlement has been calculated, depending on your circumstances, we'll deduct a parental or partner contribution amount to calculate your actual award.
