Haemophiliacs infected with Hepatitis C through NHS supplied blood or blood products must contact the England Infected Blood Support Scheme (EIBSS).
If you're an approved beneficiary of the EIBSS, you may be entitled to a free Prescription Prepayment Certificate (PPC).
You're not entitled to free NHS prescriptions because of your condition alone. You must have a valid PPC in place.
You may be able to get more help if you or your partner are receiving a qualifying benefit or exemption.
If you’re not covered by a benefit or exemption, you can apply for help through the NHS Low Income Scheme.
