Can I get free NHS prescriptions if I have Hepatitis C?

Haemophiliacs infected with Hepatitis C through NHS supplied blood or blood products must contact the England Infected Blood Support Scheme (EIBSS).

You may be entitled to a free Prescription Prepayment Certificate (PPC). You must be an approved beneficiary of EIBSS.

You're not entitled to free NHS prescriptions because of your condition alone. You must have a valid PPC in place.
