You can cancel a DD at any time by contacting your bank or building society. You must also contact our helpdesk.
This is part of our DD guarantee.
If you cancel your DD, you’ll be liable for the remaining balance on the certificate unless you have a valid exemption or passporting benefit. We'll contact you if you have any money outstanding.
If you do not clear your outstanding balance, this may result in legal action and the use of a credit reference agency.
If you were paying for another person's PPC, we'll write to the PPC holder.
If you no longer need a PPC as you're now entitled to free NHS prescriptions, you may be able to claim a refund.
